Linking large-scale, cost-effective, permanent offshore CO2 storage across the CCS value chain

LINCCS to participate in Tekna’s CO₂ conference 2023

On 18 January 2023, LINCCS will participate in the “Projects” session of this year’s Tekna CO₂ conference.

The project will be represented by Sigurd Jenssen (Wärtsilä Moss AS) and Anette Sneis (Cognite AS). Entitled LINCCS – Utvikler maritime verdikjeder (LINCCS – Developing maritime value chains), Sigurd and Anette will be discussing their work in subproject 2 “Towards zero emissions from ship transport” (SP2). This subproject aims to develop and integrate technologies for CO₂ capture and storage systems on ships by 2024. It is led by Wärtsilä and makes use of their new, world-class CCS research centre.

Tekna’s annual CO₂ conference is Norway’s biggest meeting place for research communities working with CO₂ capture, transport and storage (CCS). This year’s conference will focus on what’s happening right now within CCS development, research, business models and commercialisation, as well as challenging authorities and policymakers.
